About myself

Who Am I?

My name is Charlie Bolnick. I am a passionate baseball pitcher and a dedicated musician on a mission to make the world a better place. When I’m not competing on the pitching mound or playing the violin, you’ll find me striving for excellence in the classroom. With a heart full of determination and a mind set on positive change, I’m working hard to leave a lasting impact and inspire others to do the same.

My Backround

My Thai family in rural Thailand (I am about 18 months old).

I have been blessed to have parents from two cultures. My mother is from Thailand, and my father is from the USA. My father followed a traditional Thai custom and was a Buddhist monk for one month.  My parents were married in a traditional Thai Buddhist wedding. We go to a Buddhist temple in New Hampshire, and my father has educated me in Buddhist thought and values.

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it…or merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” – Buddha
